PERSONAL SUMMARY:

Professional musician with 30 years of international performance and recording experience, including Billboard-charting singles, major-label credits, and global touring. When COVID halted live performance, I pivoted to education; not to fill a position, but to build a program that didn't exist. At BIBS Beijing, I developed a two-track music curriculum from the ground up: performance ensemble and music production/technical direction, designed to reflect the realities of the professional music industry while complementing traditional academic frameworks. I bring real-world experience into the classroom—composing, arranging, producing, engineering, sound design, and live technical direction—because I believe students deserve to see what a career in music actually looks like alongside their formal studies. Beyond the classroom, I serve as Technical Director of the school's Performing Arts Center, managing all live sound and stage operations. My goal: to continue developing this model, train other educators, and help bridge the gap between academic music education and the professional industry.
